The South Carolina Gamecocks have significantly strengthened their football program with a highly regarded 2025 recruiting class, which includes 27 total commitments. Among the notable signings is four-star wide receiver Donovan Murph from Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina. Murph, who chose South Carolina over several top-tier programs such as Clemson, Colorado, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, had an outstanding high school career, totaling 153 receptions, 2,412 receiving yards, and 29 touchdowns.
In addition to Murph, the Gamecocks have also secured another key commitment from four-star wide receiver Malik Clark of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Clark’s arrival is expected to enhance South Carolina’s receiving corps, providing vital support to quarterback LaNorris Sellers.
The Gamecocks’ 2025 recruiting class also boasts top in-state prospects such as offensive tackle Shedrick Sarratt Jr. from Gaffney High School and defensive end Kobby Sakyi-Prah, a standout from Roswell, Georgia. These commitments underscore the program’s focus on bolstering its roster with both regional talent and standout players from surrounding areas.
With a solid mix of in-state and national recruits, South Carolina’s 2025 class reflects the coaching staff’s continued efforts to build a competitive and dynamic team, positioning the Gamecocks for success in the future.
