A common criticism of the Justin Frye era on the Ohio State offensive line was a lack of quality recruits coming to Columbus. In a short time, Tyler Bowen has shown that he is the man for the job. For the second time in 15 days, the Buckeyes’ 2026 class added an offensive line recruit as four-star tackle Sam Greer committed on Tuesday.
At the time of his commitment, Greer is considered by 247Sports to be the 23rd-best tackle in the county. As well as the ninth-best player in Ohio regardless of position. He joins as the sixth member of the Buckeyes’ 2026 class and is the second offensive lineman. Ohio State now has four of the top 10 players from Ohio committed with an expectation that at least a few will join later in the process. Greer was in town again for Ohio State’s Spring practice and chose the Buckeyes over Missouri, Florida, and Tennessee.
