The Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement on a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, sources confirm.
Hopkins, ranked No. 40 overall and No. 4 among wide receivers on The Athletic’s top 150 free agents, will earn up to $6 million. This marks his third team in two years and the fifth in his 13-year career.
After finishing the 2024 season with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he recorded 41 catches for 437 yards and four touchdowns in 10 regular-season games, Hopkins now joins a Ravens squad looking to bolster its receiving corps.
The 32-year-old also contributed three catches for 29 yards and a touchdown in the playoffs, though the Chiefs fell to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Baltimore has long been linked to Hopkins, with quarterback Lamar Jackson previously advocating for his addition. Now, alongside receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, as well as tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, Hopkins brings experience and reliability to the Ravens’ offense.
Although he isn’t expected to be the final missing piece for a championship run, his arrival strengthens a team that already boasted the NFL’s top-ranked offense last season. With new additions, including running back Derrick Henry, Baltimore is building a formidable supporting cast for Jackson as they aim for a Super Bowl push.
