Four-Star QB Oscar Rios Sets Official Visits, Including Kentucky Spring Game
Downey (Calif.) quarterback Oscar Rios, a four-star recruit in the class of 2026, has scheduled a series of official visits as he continues to evaluate his college options. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound signal-caller will make his first stop at Kentucky on the weekend of April 11, coinciding with the Wildcats’ annual spring game.
Rios, who has been rising in national recruiting rankings, has also lined up official visits with Oklahoma State (April 25), Utah (June 6), Arizona (June 13), and Colorado (June 20). These programs are all looking to bolster their quarterback rooms with a talented and mobile playmaker who has showcased a strong arm and impressive decision-making ability.
Kentucky’s early opportunity to host Rios could be crucial in his recruitment. The Wildcats have been prioritizing quarterback talent and will aim to make a strong impression during his visit. Arizona and Colorado also provide compelling opportunities in competitive Pac-12 and Big 12 environments.
With his recruitment heating up, Rios is expected to weigh his options carefully before making a commitment. His performances during his senior season will also play a role in solidifying interest from additional programs.
