With National Signing Day now behind us, Auburn football has secured the No. 6 overall recruiting class for 2025. The roster has undergone notable changes, thanks to a mix of high school signees and incoming transfers.
ctful addition for Auburn this cycle isn’t a high school recruit but a transfer. Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold has the potential to make a big difference for head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers this season.
“Auburn’s offense struggled with turnovers last year, but they still managed to generate explosive plays through the air,” Crawford noted. “Several key wide receivers are returning, along with new talent from the transfer portal. Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold should benefit from these weapons and improved offensive line play. That’s right—the same player the Sooners briefly benched during their rough stretch last fall could become one of the SEC’s top quarterbacks in 2025. Arnold endured 34 sacks across 10 starts last season, including 16 in losses to South Carolina and Ole Miss. Hugh Freeze needs this acquisition to be a home run—otherwise, Auburn could be in trouble.”
