Aaron Rodgers Calls Out Leak Problem Within Jets Organization Amid Disappointing Season….

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers believes that there is still a persistent leak problem within the New York Jets organization. Amid the team’s disappointing 3-8 record, which led to the firing of head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas, Rodgers has been at the center of various rumors and reports.

According to The Athletic’s Diana Russini, Rodgers’ relationship with Jets owner Woody Johnson has soured, with rumors suggesting that Rodgers, who is currently dealing with injuries, may soon be placed on injured reserve or even benched. Some league insiders have speculated that it wouldn’t be surprising if Rodgers is cut during the season.

ESPN’s Rich Cimini also reported that Johnson considered benching Rodgers as early as September and added that many would be shocked if the 40-year-old quarterback returns for the 2025 season. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport further revealed that Rodgers has resisted undergoing scans to avoid revealing the extent of his injuries to the team.

When asked about the ongoing leaks within the organization, Rodgers confirmed the issue during a press conference on Wednesday, stating, “One hundred percent, yes.” He emphasized the need to identify and stop these leaks.

This issue has been a recurring theme during Rodgers’ time with the Jets. Last year, he publicly addressed a leak about former quarterback Zach Wilson reportedly not wanting to play after being benched. Given the current situation, it seems increasingly likely that Rodgers won’t return to the team, marking his brief tenure with the Jets as a disaster. His 2023 season ended after just four plays due to a torn Achilles, and this year has been equally underwhelming, with the Jets’ playoff hopes fading fast.

The Jets are on track to miss the playoffs for the 14th consecutive year, with their next game coming up against the Seattle Seahawks, where they are two-point home underdogs.
