Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have both recently fallen victim to burglaries at their homes. The two Kansas City Chiefs players had their residences in Missouri broken into, according to documents from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office obtained by TMZ.
Mahomes’ house was targeted on October 6, with Kelce’s home hit the following day. At the time of Kelce’s robbery, both players were at Arrowhead Stadium competing against the New Orleans Saints.
After the break-in, Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, stayed at a hotel in downtown Kansas City for the night. TMZ reports that $20,000 in cash was stolen from Kelce’s home, and the backdoor was damaged. There have been no reports yet about any damage to Mahomes’ property.
Sources suggest the two burglaries could be part of a larger wave of crimes in the area.
Mahomes bought his home in Belton in 2020, while Kelce, seeking more privacy after his relationship with Swift became public, purchased a nearly $6 million house in Leawood.
Kelce and Mahomes, who have been teammates for six seasons, share a strong bond both on and off the field. They’ve won three Super Bowls together and are aiming for a fourth this season. Off the field, their friendship continues to be a point of interest, with the two often seen on double dates. Mahomes married his high school sweetheart, Brittany, in 2022, and they have two children, Sterling (2) and Patrick “Bronze” (1), with a third on the way.
