To accommodate the anticipated influx of fans, Alabama is opening stadium gates earlier at 4 p.m. CT, two and a half hours before kickoff, and encourages fans to arrive by 5 p.m. Champions Lane opens at 11:30 a.m., and the Walk of Champions starts at 4:25 p.m. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on ABC.
This game marks Georgia’s first visit to Tuscaloosa since 2007 with a normal crowd, as attendance was limited during their 2020 visit. Coach Kalen DeBoer noted the added attention from celebrities and media but stressed the importance of focusing on preparation for the game.
