Sidelined since August with a right lat injury, manager Brandon Hyde confirmed Wednesday that Rodriguez won’t return for the playoffs. Rodriguez posted a strong 13-4 record with a 3.86 ERA before his injury. Despite multiple pitching injuries, including Kyle Bradish and Félix Bautista, the Orioles have secured a playoff spot.
