BREAKING NEWS: Arrest Made in Shocking Attempted Mugging of Woman on Mobility Scooter..

In a brazen daylight attack outside a North Vancouver pharmacy, a suspect who allegedly attempted to mug a woman riding a mobility scooter has been arrested, thanks to tips from the public.

The frightening incident took place on Sept. 7 along Marine Drive. The suspect reportedly tried to snatch items from the woman’s handbag hanging on her scooter. When she and a bystander bravely intervened, the attacker turned violent, assaulting both.

Following the release of surveillance images, public tips flooded in, leading to the suspect’s arrest on Monday. “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victims. We’re grateful to the community for helping us bring this case closer to justice,” said Const. Mansoor Sahak of North Vancouver RCMP.

The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, is set to appear in court in January, though charges are yet to be officially filed.
