Center According to reports from The Athletic and the Los Angeles Times on Saturday, Christian Koloko, who missed the entire previous season due to a blood clot issue, has agreed to a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 7-footer was placed in the league’s Fitness-to-Play Panel due to health issues, and as a result, he missed the entire 2023–24 season with the Toronto Raptors, who dismissed him in January. Koloko, a 24-year-old Cameroonian native, can sign with a team prior to receiving the Fitness-to-Play Panel’s clearance to play before he can return to the court. Koloko, an Arizona native, was chosen by the Raptors in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft (33rd overall). He scored 2.9 points on average.
