September is when players report to HSS for workouts and scrimmages, when the final roster decisions are made, and when training camp officially begins. In the latter category, the Brooklyn Nets made some buzz this past weekend when rumors circulated that they were getting close to signing 6’8″ Chinese shooting guard Yongxi “Jacky” Cui. However, nothing concrete has been confirmed. Brooklyn has an invitation to the Exhibit 10 camp and one more two-way to fill. You should receive information about all of those positions within the next few weeks, if not earlier.
