This offseason, Jacky Cui inked an Exhibit 10 contract with the Portland Trail Blazers; however, he now has a better chance with the Brooklyn Nets.
A Portland Trail Blazers player is leaving the team.
The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly close to inking Blazers Exhibit-10 player Yongxi “Jacky” Cui to a two-way contract, as reported by Brian Lewis of the New York Post.
The New York Post inquired about Cui’s signing; this information was also reported by other Chinese outlets. The Nets did not confirm or refute the news.
Cui, 21, averaged 3.0 points per game while playing just 7.7 minutes a night for the Blazers in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Exhibit-10 agreement with the Blazers, which is effectively an invitation to training camp because there is no guarantee he will make the team for the regular season.
But the Nets made him an even more lucrative two-way deal.
