The date of August 22, 2024, in HOOVER, AlabamaThe SEC Baseball Tournament will continue to be held at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium through at least 2028, according to a deal announced on Thursday by the Southeastern Conference, the City of Hoover, and the Public Park and Recreation Board of the City of Hoover.
According to the agreement, the SEC may choose to exercise further extensions in order to hold the tournament at the Hoover Met in 2029 and 2030.
Since 1998, the Hoover Met has hosted the SEC Tournament each year—the only exception being 2020, when the COVID outbreak forced the cancellation of the event. Records for attendance were established in
